Although "Hard Luck Woman" did not equal the success of "Beth," it did become another top 20 single for Kiss. "Calling Dr. Love" would go on to become a concert staple, being played on just about every tour since the album's release. The cover artwork was created by artist Michael Doret, who worked with Kiss again on their album Sonic BoomMissing: Wess Machine.

They also do a slow version of the old tune "The Game of Love" which is unfortunate, but that is the only real clunker on the CD. This is not real traditional blues but blues nonetheless, and the real-world, hard-luck themes of many of the tracks will resonate with blues lovers. The good news is, they're back together after a long haitus/5(6).
