Like TRIUMVIRAT's previous album ("Illusions on a Double Dimple"), "Spartacus" is based around a theme, this time the gladiator Spartacus in ancient Rome, and the slave uprising that he led. The sales of the "Sparacus" LP were even better than "Illusions", particularly in the USA/5(51).

Aug 26,  · Attention! I'm a fan of both groups. From Triumvirat, I've still this album along with "Illusions on a double dimple' are their finest works in my opinion, unfortunately after the death of Helmut Köller, Triumvirat was no longer the same. In 'Spartacus' are displayed all their creative energy, good keyboards, good melodies.
